News, Information, Our Past Trips

We want you to see some of our past trips, too. Why? So you can see if it is something that would be for you. Not everyone enjoys the same things. Life wouldn’t be fun if everyone was the same. But we want to be sure you get the experience and memories you want.

The Best Cruise Line

The Best Cruise Line

We are often asked which is the best cruise line. Well, it all depends on you.

Ok, so you think that’s a non-answer. But think about it, not everyone enjoys the same things you do.

Some people like tons of active activities like swimming, water slides, basketball, fitness equipment, zip lines, ice skating, bowling, etc.

Some people like more passive activities like lectures, shows, demonstrations, etc.

Some people like a party atmosphere.

Some people like a family atmosphere.

Some people view the food as a big part of the cruise.

Some people see the ship as the destination and some see the ports as the destination.

You get the idea. Everyone is different, and even if you are one of the above things, it may not be what you want on the particular cruise you are planning.

Cruise Lines all have a personality, but even that doesn’t always tell the story. Even the ship has its own personality. This is where a Travel Advisor can help with determining what Cruise Line and even what ship on that line will work for your upcoming trip.

The first cruise my husband and I went on was a Disney Cruise Line cruise. As a matter of fact, the first three we went on were Disney. By the way, we went without children.

We loved the Disney cruises we went on. We didn’t mind all the children. As a matter of fact, we enjoyed seeing the looks of excitement and pleasure on their faces.

We also didn’t mind the Disney theme.

And we were always seated at a table for dinner with all adults, about our age. So, obviously it isn’t just for families.

Disney Cruise Line has great food, great fun, great crew members, and just all around good clean fun. I’d jump on another one of their ships any time! The problem is they are quite a bit more costly than many other popular lines, but worth it.

We were spoiled taking Disney first. Nothing else measured up for us. Even though we had no complaints about the other lines, it still wasn’t Disney.

Wayne and I also sailed on two ships we probably never would have chosen, but the conferences we were attending were on these ships. We still enjoyed the cruises (and the conferences).

When I took our youngest on her first cruise, she came back wanting to cruise again and it wasn’t a Disney cruise.

So, when you start planning your cruise vacation, be sure to let your Travel Advisor know what you would like to do – relax, do everything, see the ports, be active, learn something new, etc.

To Cruise or Not to Cruise, That Is the Question

To Cruise or Not to Cruise, That Is the Question

It seems that just when you think you know the rules, everything changes again. If you are like me, you want to get on a cruise ship. I prefer to not cruise in the summer, so I'm not planning to cruise anytime real soon. However, I sometimes wonder when I should...
