Passports
Do you need to renew your passport, or get your first one? Well, they are taking longer than usual. Wayne had to renew his as it was about to expire. We heard 10-12 weeks. Yes, that is a long time.
I am happy to say, though, that his passport renewal took a little less than 7 weeks from the day we mailed the application (mid-February) until the day it was received.
Does that mean it will go that quickly for you? I can’t say for sure. I can just tell you what happened with this particular one.
So, if you need to renew your passport anytime soon, be sure to take into account the longer than expected time to get it returned.
