Why not? Yes, the largest cruise ships in the world have their version of Central Park on the ship. If you walked into there blindfolded, you may never guess you’re on a cruise ship.
With no ceiling, you are “outside” walking through a park with trees and plants. You’ll also find some great specialty restaurants and even a complimentary sandwich shop there, too! I also noticed it was quieter than many other areas of the ship.
Be careful, though, if it’s raining, it will be raining there. Yes, we got “caught” in the rain while walking through, but you don’t have to worry about that. If you want to walk through, there are umbrellas available before you enter. Just be sure to drop it off when you no longer need it, so someone else can use it.
And yes, those are staterooms overlooking Central Park.
