Best Cruise Lines for 2020

US News and World Report has come out with it’s new list of bests when it comes to cruise lines for 2020. A number of factors were considered which included evaluations from cruise industry experts, health assessments conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, price classes, itinerary offerings, and reputation among travelers.

The top 17 lines were ranked as a whole line, not by individual ship. Here are the results:

Best for the Money:

  1. Royal Caribbean International
  2. Celebrity Cruises
  3. Norwegian Cruise Line
  4. Princess Cruises

Best for Families:

  1. Disney Cruise Line
  2. Royal Caribbean International
  3. Carnival Cruise Line
  4. Norwegian Cruise Line

Best for Couples:

  1. Viking Ocean Cruises
  2. Seabourn Cruise Line
  3. Crystal Cruises
  4. Azamara Club Cruises

Best in the Caribbean:

  1. Disney Cruise Line
  2. Royal Caribbean International
  3. Seabourn Cruise Line
  4. Celebrity Cruises

Best in the Mediterranean:

  1. Seabourn Cruise Line
  2. Crystal Cruises
  3. Viking Ocean Cruises
  4. Azamara Club Cruises

Best Luxury Cruise:

  1. Viking Ocean Cruises
  2. Seabourn Cruise Line
  3. Crystal Cruises
  4. Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Just because a cruise line is, or isn’t, listed, doesn’t always tell the whole story. Every line has their own following, because everyone is different and has their own preferences.
