Yes, there are some people who don’t want to cruise, because all they think about is the ocean (or large lake) cruising that is so popular. However, there is a way to cruise without those rough ocean waves.
Consider a river cruise. Rough waters are very rare on the rive, and if there are any waves, they are typically small enough you’ll not feel them.
While river cruises are typically more expensive, they also are more inclusive than most ocean cruises.
River cruises include the same things as an ocean cruise, but on a smaller ship. Also, river cruises typically include better food, all beverages, including alcoholic, expert lectures, and land excursions. Cruise overnight to get to the next port.
So, if the idea of high waves is keeping you back, consider another option.
One day I hope to hop on a paddle boat cruise on the Mississippi!
